Syntymäpäivälahja Leenalle...A birthdaygift for Leena...

Hyvää syntymäpäivää ystävälleni, Leenalle! Ristipistoilujen välillä virkkasin hänelle tämän liinan ohuen ohuesta, äidiltäni saamasta virkkauslangasta. Äiti on ostanut sen joskus 50-luvulla Ruotsista ja koska hänen näkönsä ei enää riittänyt näin ohuen langan virkkaamiseen hän antoi sen minulle. Numero 0,6 mm virkkauskoukkukin tuntui liian paksulta... Etsintäkuulutan vieläkin ohuempaa koukkua, lankaa on vielä jäljellä paljon!

Happy Birthday my dear friend, Leena! Between the cross-stitching I decided to try some crocheting for a change and made her this doily. The thread is very thin, so thin that my crochet hook size 0,6 mm felt too thick. I want a thinner crochet hook, anyone! There is still plenty of the thread left! My mother has bought the thread in Sweden on the early 50´s and because she doesn´t see very well anymore she decided to give the thread to me.
