Joulukoristevaihto...Christmas Ornament Exchange...

Osallistuin suomalaiseen joulukoristevaihtoon vaikka joulu on jo taaksejäännyttä elämää. Tätä se jouluhulluus teettää! Vaihtoparini oli Kati , jolle pistelin tämän joulukoristeen. Malli on JCS Christmas Ornaments lehdestä, kangas luonnonvalkoista 40 ct pellavaa ja lanka - mikäpä muu - DMC n:ro 115. Katille oli tosi kiva pistellä vaikka en häntä entuudestaan tuntenutkaan. Hänen blogiaan selattuani totesin että taisi taas löytyä samanhenkinen ristipistoihminen! Yhteistä on ainakin Tildat, metallilankatyöt ja pistely. Paljon terveisiä sinne etelä-Suomeen! Kiva että pidit koristeestasi! Ja kiitokset Leenalle kun järjestit tämän vaihdon!

I participated in the Finnish Christmas Ornament Exchange. This is really what Christmas-madness is about! My partner was Kati and I stitch the ornament in the pics above for her. The design is from JCS Christmas Ornaments magazine, the fabric is ecru 40 ct linen and the thread - what else - DMC number 115. It was so fun to stitch for Kati eventhough I didn´t know her. When I read her blog I realized that I had found a cross-stitch person again with similar interests. We have at least the Tilda, wire-work and cross-stitches in common. I´m glad, Kati, that you liked your ornament. Many regards to you! And a huge thanks to Leena for arranging this exchange.
